A huge thank you to those who joined us in Building G on Sunday, December 8 for the first annual Seaside Social Holiday Party and Fundraiser sponsored by the Sherry Griswold Foundation. Guests were treated to several seaside-themed treats like sushi and a shipwreck casserole, as well as cocktails, mocktails and sweets galore as they mingled with each other and spread holiday cheer – all in support of our educational programs.
Captain Bruce Heyman took the attendees on a journey as he demonstrated how and with whom we make an impact, helping to garner support throughout the afternoon’s festivities. In addition to a wonderful group of supporters from the community and our dedicated crew, Chef Sal and three students from the MATCH Academy at Banning High School – Maritime Agriculture Tourism Cuisine Hospitality – helped us serve up a celebratory afternoon while building on their serving skills through our event. We also look forward to building on this event in the years to come!
