🌊 Help Kids Set Sail on Learning
In partnership with Long Beach Gives, LAMI Topsail is empowering the next generation through hands-on maritime education.
Your gift supports immersive STEM programs aboard authentic tall ships, giving children and teens opportunities to learn teamwork, leadership, navigation, and marine science while discovering their own potential.
Giving starts September 18, 2025.
You can also check out this video shortly after the Homecoming Celebration featuring Tall Ship American Pride at her new home on Pine Avenue Pier (with a huge shout out to her crew for all they do!). Stop by to see her docked there if you’re visiting Rainbow Harbor. She’ll be there… unless we’re out sailing, of course!
Why Should I Give?
For more than 30 years, Los Angeles Maritime Institute’s Topsail program has transformed lives by:
Providing scholarships so no child is left dockside.
Delivering dockside labs and at-sea expeditions tied to California school standards.
Instilling confidence, teamwork, and leadership in youth who may not otherwise have access to such opportunities.
Every voyage sparks curiosity, courage, and character. Your support makes these experiences possible.
